Always worth a visit. Very friendly, very tasty food and very personable.
The vouchers, which were / are offered very euphorically, may suddenly no longer be redeemed "because of Corona". What kind of logic is this, please ?!
Got a voucher for Christmas, which is now supposedly no longer redeemable due to Corona. For me it's total nonsense.
Good food, good service. Recently visited with the mobile home. Food was pre-ordered by phone and brought to the mobile home by the service staff. Great service, also taking into account the currently applicable hygiene regulations. The dishes ordered were tasty and nicely presented.
Christmas menu to go: 4x 1/2 Oldenburg duck with dumplings, red cabbage and baked apple. That was delicious. The duck is juicy and with a crispy skin. The small dumplings are delicious. And the baked apple first. Price-performance ratio is very good. Large portion. Many Thanks.
We would like to thank you for the great food ? Since everything is completely different this year than normal, we ordered at the children's request at Riva Bremen .... Surprise, surprise? there was roast beef with potato gratin, bean buns and Bearnaise?? sauce Great instructions for the short preparation !!!!!
From the to-go menu we chose the duck as the "birthday menu" and the tiramisu as dessert. Both the phone order and the pick-up service were super friendly. The menu was well presented and "packed". The taste was just delicious. This also applies to the hip gold. The 2-person birthday party (unfortunately more was not possible) was a successful party. Big compliments to the team. Keep it up!!
Great food, nice ambience, but upscale in terms of prices. But justified by taste. The music in the background was too loud and I didn't think it suited this place!
Very stylish, elegant restaurant. The ambience is wonderful. Outside you have a direct view of the Weser. We were there for lunch. The music in the background and the very friendly service round off the restaurant experience. We will come back.
Great ambience and the service 1a with asterisk:) ...., but long waiting times for the starter and the main course. We were a group of 5 and we weren't all that enthusiastic about the quality of the main dishes, there is more. The pizzas were inedible, dry, too hard, sparingly topped and difficult to eat because there was not even pizza cutlery available. The other main courses were mediocre. So on the whole okay. However, don't really get the hype.
Delicious food, presented very aesthetically, portions are large. Very nice service. The waiting time is a bit long, but results from the fact that the dishes are prepared regularly and with fresh products. I highly recommend it!
We were only there briefly to have a drink. Very nice service. The fruit spritzers are very tasty and come with a GLASS straw. Top?
Wanted something to drink or eat after the walk. Were placed but not served afterwards. The table next to us immediately got the cards, etc. Then left. No information about food etc. ... 12.09.2020 approx. 6 p.m. (not excessive use), outside. I'm amazed myself, the table was cleaned for us. But serving the table next door, which came much later, confirmed the ignorance.
We went here for dinner this Friday and can only recommend this restaurant! Very tasty food in combination with the staff (thanks to the waiter Tim) result in a successful evening ... what more could you want (?) Price / performance is therefore fully justified.
Well-intentioned dish / recipes, but the special taste is missing. Dessert in a glass cup ? no salad as a small addition. Dish of the day tagiatelle with beef strips was hot, but the chanterelles lacked pepper. I've eaten a lot better for the price.
We spontaneously went for a walk in Überseestadt, to run along the Weser and take a look at the whole thing. On the way back we stopped at RIVA for a drink. We were pleasantly surprised, the RIVA is very nicely located, you can sit there very well and it wasn't as crowded as we had expected. The staff is very friendly. The RIVA is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.
We really enjoyed the second attempt, we had the sea bream, vegetables and pizza diavolo (very spicy!).
Cozy place with excellent food!
A nice cozy restaurant right on the water. Great view, good and delicious food, the prices are a bit expensive, the service is nice and friendly when the weather is nice you can sit outside, I can only recommend it. The location is ideal after a stroll along the Überseestadt promenade
Nice interior, good food. Very big portions. Our waiter Jana en the rest of the staff were friendly and spoke English well
went there for an anniversary, the staff are friendly, the place looks good with a great view on the river, and the menu ist diverse, and the food tastes wonderful the only setback was that it was really hot inside (and clearly outside with an exceptional temperature of 36°) and they don't have air conditioning, but let's face it, no other German restaurant has that either I would definitely go there again
Slow service. Appetizer was great, but the main course was a let down. This was the consensus for the entire table.
Fantastic place enjoy
Good food
Food with a view
Modern ambience with a view of the Weser. From inside the guest room you can look through a window wall into the kitchen. The food was without exception delicious, the portions rich. Especially recommended are the beef carpaccio and the orange creme brulee for dessert. The main dishes were very tasty, the meat tender. Price / performance are consistent, the service was very friendly. Special highlight: As a guest of the restaurant you can after dinner in the - otherwise only for members - smoker "Deck 20" go to the neighboring building, which is located on the 20th floor and offers a magnificent view of Bremen.
Absolutely not fair. I did mention 3 times that my food is too salty, no reaction. The manager walked also through the restaurant but did only greet special guests. Not everyone. We felt quite secondary. For this „high class“ restaurant was that a very poor presentation. The pasta was more spicy than anything else. The mashed potatoes were super salty I even left more than the half- again no reaction. Poor poor poor
A above average place, by the river and all the new housing projects in Bremen. Pricing average.
Top! Food was great, had pizza and the hip steak and the goat cheese. A paradise of the senses here one understands his craft! Service was attentive but not intrusive. All in all a successful evening
Ok, after reading the reply from the owner I will just avoid this place. You surely need some good night sleep. *** It's alright, but nothing special - like the prices would suggest. The fries were not homemade,... The filet for 30eur was too salty. Also the waiter was just a strange dude...***
Gut
Superficially nice, but flaws add up catastrophically. I've been there on Good Friday 2018 with family and was majorly disappointed. From the beginning to the end grouped by topic in pros/cons style (bear in mind that they are expensive for a mid-class restaurant): Pros: I had body-peeled yet not severed tiger prawns as starter (very nice). Cons: My cousin ordered tagliatelle with tiger prawns as main dish, but got linguine instead (without a word) and the tiger prawns were still in their whole shell (she kept the dish, but it was a mess for her). Pros: I had the 14 oz rib-eye as main course with steak fries, caesar's salad and herb butter as trimmings and a glass of perfectly adequate Merlot to go with it. It was perfectly medium with a decent crisp. Cons: The waitress didn't bring a steak knife (I had to ask for one; she had to search the restaurant for it...). Then it actually wasn't a rib-eye but a super-thick rump steak (still perfectly medium though). Also instead of herb butter (as specified in the menu) I got pesto (yes, with slight anchovy flavor) that resembled a roll of herbs drenched in oil and respectively hard to handle (horrible, so I left it alone). Now for the shocker: The salad was topped with parmesan and bacon, as I reckoned, but instead of the usual poultry addition (as I ate it dozens of times in hotels and restaurants of even higher-class throughout Europe), they served the anchovy version of it - to go with steak!!! That...thing I sent back, inquiring about the strong fish flavor. The waitress answered, that they keep to the original recipe and swapped it for an oil-drenched mediterranean salad. She then autonomously discussed it with the chef and got back to me referring to a Wikipedia entry and that the chef said, they keep to the "official US recipe". I don't know how the salad is served in the US, but I am certain that only idiots would willingly mix the flavor of a decent steak with the one of sardines. I mean, that really isn't surf & turf - it's like eating from a rubbish bin. Long story short: For the next person who wants to drag me there I only have two words with seven letters in total.
Nice place to be. Cosy interior, delicious dishes, polite and well experienced staff. Maybe a bit too noisy, though. We nevertheless had a pleasant evening there and only can recommend to frequent the Riva. Cheers Andrew
A very good selection of Mediterranean food, with a nice view to the Weser river
Excellent hamburger and ravioli dish, very friendly to children.
They always have offer of the day menu for a good price
They know how to run gastro business :)
Good food, good service. Highly recomended.
They do not have an English Menu. The service is very very very very slowwwwwww. The food seems okay. Where a ceaser salad being wothout a chicken????? The service is no good.
